Indianapolis 500 veterans Sarah Fisher and Jeff Simmons will sign autographs at "IMS Night at the Pacers" from 6-6:45 p.m. (ET) Wednesday, Dec. 13 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Pavilion in Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Indiana Pacers play Central Division rivals the Detroit Pistons at 7 p.m. The first 8,000 fans through the gates will receive a free IMS-Pacers headband.
Fans also will be treated to giveaways during the game, including Indianapolis 500 qualifying day tickets and Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2007 "Summer of Speed" T-shirts. The 2007 Summer of Speed at IMS includes the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race on Sunday, May 27, the United States Grand Prix on Sunday, June 17 and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard on Sunday, July 29.
Fisher, a five-time starter in the Indianapolis 500, and Simmons, driver of the No. 17 Team Ethanol entry for Rahal Letterman Racing and a two-time Indy 500 competitor, also will be named Honorary Team Captains for the Indiana Pacers and introduced in pre-game ceremonies.
