Danica and the good ole boys club
Well apparently the good ole boys club is starting to get scared of having a woman beat one of them. You could see it in her eyes and hear it i her voice..... she knows she was setup.
The highlight of the day would have been to see her drag the sacrificial lamb (Briscoe) out of his car and shown him how bad a woman could have kicked his butt. But of course, they had to stop her.
This is the one and only event I watch every year and in my opinion its starting to not be worth watching. Man or woman, whichever may win, should win because of their ability to drive......not because of the good ole boy buddy system. Very rarely will a woman driver in the Indy500 will be involved in a wreck that is her fault. I think they are just allowing women to participate as a media thing......more viewers equals more dollars.
Nice job boys.....only way you can win against a woman is to cheat..........I bet you are so proud of yourselves.

I'm not much of a race fan of any sorts, however, being a true Hoosier, I attend the Indy 500.  I have watched Danica Patrick, make the Indy 500 a very exciting race each time she has competed.  I don't understand how you can call her an embarassment, she places in the top 10 frequently and even just became the first woman to win in open wheel racing.  Had Briscoe's ignorant piece of driving not taken place, she would have been in the hunt yet again for this race, consistently in the top 10 all day long.  As a Indy Rookie, had she not ran low on fuel, she would have likely won that race.  I don't know about the good ole boy thing, there may be something to that.  But the one thing I know is that she more than any other woman, or even a man for that matter, has made the last four Indy 500's more exciting than they have been for many years.  As for her playing tennis, well, I for one would have liked to have seen her play a game of tennis all over Briscoe's dumb ass yesterday, it would have been a well deserved ass-whoopin'.

Michael I have to somewhat agree with 'Houdini', and I also must ask you, what is it that you have been 'smoking'.  I don't know you, but I would bet that you are one of those 'men' who believes she or any other woman has no business behind the wheel of a race car.  I believe she has proven herself over and over again and has a bright future ahead of her.  Danica and her racing abilities will keep me coming back to the 500 for many years to come.

 Danica....
I personally enjoyed the race from the point we didn't have to hear her incessant whining on the radio anymore after she went out. I also believe there are 32 other drivers on the track that have an equal chance to be reported on, but since they don't make it in the SI Swimsuit issue....well.....

They should have let her go at Briscoe. If she wants to walk around like she has a pair, let her take a black eye like she's got 'em. That would have been entertaining. Maybe it would have helped to deflate her evergrowing ego that's getting worse by the race.

 Hey Danica "That's racing"!
I understand her disapointment with the accident that took her out of the race. I believe every driver that had an accident, experienced that the same disapointment. I am quite certain that Biscoe didn't cause that accident on purpose.  Get over it and move on. Danica's display of poor sportmanship is getting real tired.  That why I have stopped watching Nascar, because I am tired of the whinning of Stewart, Busch and others.

If Danica wants to be a trend setter she should continue to drive hard and be a great example of good sportmanship. I was thrilled when she nearly won the Indy 500 a few years back. If you can be a good winner try being a great sport!  What's it going to be?

This is the same thing I would expect from any professional in any business or sport. Good luck and let's move forward.

I could not agree with you more!!
I was once a Danica fan. Not any more. I heard her foul language on my head set the day of the race. I was shocked. She may look like a lady but she don't act like one. Call me old fashioned but it don't impress me to hear a woman talk like that.
Very poor sportsman ship.  I wonder what Brisco thought when she called him a Fing idiot.

If you don't like the bad words on your head set turn it off. One more thing "He is a Punk". I hope my language was not to bad for you. Have a great day.

I would not have been impressed with any of the drivers if they had used such foul language.

The race is over........I am now looking forward to next year. HAVE A NICE DAY!

If she had gotten down there to Brisco then what? Everyone would have said you can't hit her she's a woman. Is that really fair to the other drivers she keeps running her mouth to and pushing around that they can't say or do anything back. What is wrong with her fans even rooting her on to go there. She finally wins a race because everyone in front of her is out of gas and now they think she is a racer. Let's put this win where it belongs.

Danica has worn very thin.  I am so sick of hearing about her.  Like there is no one else racing.  I had some admiration for her in the beginning.  But her behavior combined with the Danica Fever of the press has finished it for me.
