Hello all, There were recent accusations made regarding Donna Tabucchi. I can assure you that she is in fact the "Real" Donna J. Tabucchi, my son Eric's wife and also considered my daughter. My father is Charlie R. Tabucchi aka "The Doctor of Motors" and I am Charles J. Tabucchi, his son. I intend to post numerous true stories of my experience at INDY. More importantly, I intend to make new memories with my grandson Travis J. Tabucchi. Look for us at INDY 500 2009 and Travis finishing the race in 2013 proudly displaying Tabucchi Engineering.. Thanks to everyone for your inspiring comments.. |

Hello. I have an uncle named Charles Tabucchi, who I've recently been told was on the Engineering Team for the Unser Brothers. All these years I thought he worked with Mario Andretti, but guess I was wrong. His wife, my Auntie Myrtle, and I were very close during my young years, and I would spend summers with them in San Francisco, watching my uncle race his speed boats. My Auntie Myrtle was my father's sister. His name was Charles F. Dougherty. Just wondering if there is a connection here -- and if so, I'm really sorry to learn that I probably missed seeing my aunt and uncle for years -- since I lived very near the Unser property in Albuquerque for many years as well as in Santa Fe for many years. What a small world it is! |
