not a waste of money?
anteros, if just getting your name 'heard about' is what you consider a 'win' or good return on investment - think of where the pets.com, homegrocer.com and like who advertised during the superbowl are now.

Not a wasteI did taw a puttytat---errr penguin!
Not in this video but during the ABC broadcast. It was on the side of the engine air intake above and behind the cockpit. I was looking for the one painted on the nose during the race, but the car wasn't showcased until the crash. Unfortunately, the name "Linux" wasn't next to Tux, so I doubt people would immediately make the association.

It wasn't a waste
Some are already complaining that this was a big waste of money. Not so. The millions that heard about Linux before the race was the achievement. This was just a way to get the name and logo in the public eye. Wait a week or two before you cast any judgment. There is already a connection being made to the car with the NYSE emblem and Linux being written about. NYSE just switched to Linux a couple weeks ago. That in itself was huge for Linux.
Roberto is fine as far as I can tell. I called the hospital and was told he had been released

Get well soon.
I hope you are alright. I just wish Microsoft would not have put that electromagnet in that wall.

18 grand and he crashed. Oh well, he qualified for the race and there was a penguin on the car, that's all I came for. Good job Roberto!
